Jenni AI
Jenni AI is an academic writing workspace that imports PDFs, searches a large academic index (200M+ papers), and generates drafts with inline, traceable citations. It provides autocomplete, chat, edits and reviews with explicit per-tier usage limits and supports many citation styles and export formats for manuscripts.
The pricing page lists three named tiers with monthly prices and documented feature limits: Free ($0/month), Plus ($12/month), and Pro ($29/month). Each tier shows limits for AI Autocomplete, AI Chat, AI Edit, Reviews, PDF upload size, and export capabilities. Is Jenni AI right for you?
Good for
- Individual researchers and small research teams who need AI-assisted drafting with sentence-level traceable citations to source documents.
- AI suggestions and generated sentences are tied to precise source locations so claims are traceable to the original PDFs.
- Search extends beyond your library to a very large academic index for discovery of papers you haven't uploaded.
Keep in mind
- The Free plan imposes low daily autocomplete and limited chat/edit/review counts compared with paid tiers.
- Free plan PDF upload size limit is smaller than paid tiers (planed PDF size differs by plan).
- If you need disclosed underlying model names or institutional enterprise seat pricing, confirm those specifics with Jenni because the linked official pages do not document them.
Pricing and plan limits
Prices on the page are shown as per-month amounts and a Monthly/Annual toggle is present; the linked official pages list per-month pricing. The linked official pages do not publish enterprise or team seat pricing or detailed purchasing steps for institutional purchases.
